What is the frequency?  Each share is for a 6-month period with delivery once a month.  Winter shares are delivered from November thru April; Summer shares from May thru October.  You can still join a share after it has started, contact us.

How are Shares Delivered?  All products are delivered       frozen according to USDA safe handling requirements for perishable foods.  We are licensed with the State of Wisconsin and all products are processed at state or federally inspected facilities.

Shares are delivered to a convenient neighborhood location. Hosts (minimum of 10 shareholders) receive a 25% discount off of their CSA share. 

Choosing your Share Size:  A medium share seems to fit the needs of a couple or small family.  If you cook a lot at home, or entertain, the large share may meet your needs better. If you eat out often or live alone, the small share may be a good option.

Over the 6-month season, you will receive the equivalent in meat as the $ value of your share. Per pound product prices are listed to the right.

Large Share - $780 - $780 in meat value
Medium Share - $600 - $600 in meat value                   Small Share - $480 - $480 in meat value

Here's what you can expect to receive. The actual weight, # of packages and month of delivery will be dependent on your share size and availability.  Optional items must be requested at least a month before delivery and will be at an additional cost.

Beef:                       

Roasts:  At least 2 of the following types:  Chuck, Brisket, Rolled Rump, Sirloin Tip    

Steaks:  At least 2 of the following types:  New York Strip, Porterhouse, Ribeye, T-Bone, Cube Steak, Top Sirloin 

Ground:  At least 1 of each of the following types:  Ground Beef Bulk, Ground Chuck Bulk, Ground Round Bulk, Ground Beef Patties, Bratwurst    

Miscellaneous:  At least 2 of the following types:  Deli Sliced Corned Beef, Short Ribs, Soup Bone, Stew Meat, Summer Sausage 

Optional Items by Request:  Corned Beef Brisket, Flank Steak, Skirt Steak, Tenderloin Steak, Wieners, Liver, Heart, Tongue   

Lamb:                                                                          

Leg/Roast:  Either a Boneless Leg or a Shoulder Roast

Chops:  Loin and/or Rib Chops

Sirloin Steak

Ground Lamb

Sausage:  At least 2 of the following types:  Onion & Garlic Bratwurst, Italian Sausage, Breakfast Links, Sheboygan Brats (No MSG), Naturally-Cured Summer Sausage (No MSG or Added Nitrates)  

Optional Items by Request:  Stew Meat, Organ Meats Dog Bones.   

Pork:

Bacon

Chops:  Bone In and/or Butterflied

Shoulder Roast

Sausage: At least 4 of the following types:  Breakfast Bulk, Breakfast Links, Mild Italian Bulk, Hot Italian Bulk, Unseasoned Ground Pork Bulk

Ham Products:  At least 2 of the following types:  Ham Roast, Ham Steak, Ham Hock

Optional Items by Request:  Baby Back Ribs, Spare Ribs, Pork Tenderloin

Poultry:

Chickens:  9 - 14 whole, Quartered or Halved

Eggs:  3 - 9 Dozen

Optional Items by Request:  Turkey, Chicken Gizzards, Chicken Livers
